Is Drumming Just For Boys…….
This is not something new, ever since i started teaching in 2011-2012 there was always talented and enthusiastic girls enquiring about drumming. However, every now and then, I will still get an enquiry from a budding young female drummer (or parents of) asking “Are there many girls drumming?” or “ do you teach Girls?” and the answer is YES, any person can learn to play the drums in H91 Drum School.
Its About The Students
In H91 Drum School everything is done with the student in mind. Be it online drum lessons or in person lessons they are one to one, so full attention is on the student, there is a limited amount of students in a day, with a maximum of a two hour lesson block so that each student gets the best out of myself.
How To Set Up A Drum Kit?
One of the things i’ve found when teaching beginners drum lessons in Galway city in Ireland and online is that parents and beginner drummers set the drum kit up where everything is in place, however it is not ergonomically in place in order to play drums more efficiently. This can be a bit of a problem for a beginner drummer and especially for kids that wants to learn drums, and generally it’s only a few tweaks that make it perfect.

This traditional style of drumming is so beneficial to learn improving the students memory, the brains processing speed and cognitive response in coordination.
