ABOUT BRENDAN
Irish drummer Brendan Jones developed an interest in drumming at an early age. As a teenager he began playing with local bands while studying drums in The Contemporary Music School Galway.
In his early twenties, after recording and touring with original Rock, Metal and Punk bands he decided to further his studies at Europe’s leading drum and percussion college, DrumTech London. There he expanded his knowledge of drumming and musical styles and was named in the top ten performers of his year.
Brendan moved back to Ireland in 2010 and became a professional live and studio session drummer. Being known for his high energy performances Brendan works with many different artists, corporate clients and advertising agencies in Ireland. He has a Youtube channel dedicated to the working drummer ‘Brendrum Jones’ and also passes on his knowledge from the last 23 years of drumming by teaching in his drum school ‘H91 Drum School.’
